UPDATE 30 JUNE 2020: Hey Everyone! I’m Hank Williams, lovingly called Hanky Doodle by my foster mom. Although named after a great country singer, I don’t sing often, only when my hooman friends come home, or when I want to play with the other dogs in my neighborhood. I love long naps in my bed, cuddling with my foster mom and foster aunts. Really, I just enjoy being with my human friends, adults and kids. I even help them work sometimes as you can see in the photo! I love SNIFFING! I like to sniff everything! I also LOVE FOOD! Food is the best…I get so excited that sometimes I forget my manners, but I’m learning more and more everyday! If you love naps, sniffing, walking, cuddling, food, and getting/giving love I think we would be a great match!
UPDATE- 21 JUNE 2020: Hank took a ride to the beach for the day and loved all the new smells! He also made lots of new human friends who think he is so cute! Check out a couple of his new pictures from his adventure hanging out at the pool!
UPDATE – 9 JUNE 2020 (from foster mom): Hank is such a sweet guy. Hank loves long walks through the neighborhood, and snoozing until his heart is content. Hank sometimes thinks he’s a cat and likes to sleep in empty boxes or right in the middle of the stairs. Hank has had no accidents inside since coming to his foster home! He is still working on crate training, as he is super anxious and loud when he goes into his crate. Hank is a quiet beagle for the most part, except when in his crate or looking for extra love! Hank likes to be very nosy when cooking and eating is happening, and sometimes tries to sneak into the pantry when nobody is looking! He also doesn’t like the fire alarm, so a family who doesn’t burn stuff often is a good fit :) Overall Hank is an amazing dog, everyone who interacts with him, even the vet, LOVE HIM!
UPDATE – 31 MAY 2020: Hank is heading to a foster home today, so stay tuned as we learn more about this boy.
NEW – 25 MAY 2020: Hank Williams came to BREW as a stray from Fredericksburg, Virginia, so we don’t know anything about his history. He seems friendly and gets along with the other dogs at the kennels. He is now fully vetted and available for fostering or adoption.
