Sangria – Adopted September 2020
Estimated Weight: 20 Pounds
UPDATE – 7 SEPTEMBER 2020 (from foster mom): Sangria is such a happy, playful, affectionate dog. She’s a smaller lemon beagle at only about 20 pounds. She is great with kids and other dogs and loves to go on walks and explore the backyard. She will happily give you lots of puppy kisses! She loves her stuffed toys and definitely still has a playful puppy like streak. She may be 8 but she’s more like 4/5 in terms of energy level. She does great in the crate when we’re gone and at night. She does have a bit of a mischievous streak so we do have to watch her-she hasn’t quite figured out what’s hers to chew on! I will say, house training is still a work in progress. She does get daily eye drops for dry eye, but other than that is in good health. Sangria is a sweetheart who is looking for a loving home to call her own!
UPDATE – 24 AUGUST 2020: Sangria is heading off to a foster home today, so let’s see how she does as a house dog.
UPDATE – 22 AUGUST 2020: Sangria is now fully vetted and available for adoption. She has chronic dry eye in her left eye and is likely to need eye drops for the rest of her life.
NEW – 12 AUGUST 2020: Sangria is a small but chunky 7-8-year-old female who was abandoned by her owner and left at a shelter in Virginia. She is a pretty little lemon beagle who likes to keep her nose to the ground! She will be available after she is checked out by our vet (currently scheduled for 8/21).
