Speck – Adopted September 2020
Note: Needs physical therapy for a few weeks related to post-ACL surgery.
UPDATE – 30 AUGUST 2020: Little Speck had ACL surgery and is now in a foster home where she is recovering nicely. She is a cute little girl and is available for adoption, as long as the adopter understands she needs a few weeks of post-op rehab. Her foster mom says the rehab is very easy, and Speck doesn’t mind at all. Rehab consists of no jumping, no climbing stairs, gentle leash walks, and Speck’s leg needs to be stretched (like riding a bicycle) 3-4 times a day for 1 minute.
NEW – 12 AUGUST 2020: Speck came to BREW with two other 10-year-old beagle girls (Bessie and Butterscotch) who all found themselves without a home when their owner no longer wanted them. As far as we know, they have only lived outside. Speck has a torn ligament in one of her legs, but she will be available once she has finished her vetting. She is a very sweet girl who deserves to live out the rest of her life with a loving family.
