UPDATE – 15 NOVEMBER 2021 (from foster family): Meet the amazing Cider man! This sweet and easy going guy was at first very timid, but he continues to be more confident each day. He now comfortably rides the elevator in our building and walks in the urban surroundings.

Cider likes to curl up on the couch with you or his foster sister, but can also be independent and sleep in the crate with the door open or on a doggie bed. On walks (he often trots!), dogs don’t usually get a reaction from him as long as they aren’t too close, but he does not want to interact with them. Our resident dog (who can be difficult!) engages him in hours of chasing and rolling around, and he does an amazing job with her.

Cider is protective of his humans and will bark in his awesome deep beagle voice if anyone unknown comes too close. He may do best in a home without young children.

We continue to work on bathroom habits, and he is improving. Cider is a really cool guy who is a joy to have around. He will be an amazing addition to any family.

NEW – 24 OCTOBER 2021: Cider and two friends, possibly siblings, came from a kill shelter that was going to euthanize the trio unless BREW stepped in, which we were able to do. Cider is now in a foster home. We will be hearing more from Cider’s foster family soon.
